The Jackfield Tile Tote Bag Crochet Pattern

Handbags are one of the most prominent fashion accessories and style statements one can have. When you wear it, your personality is reflected and the bag shows a variety of things about you and yourself, for example your likes and dislikes and also your areas of interest. One of the most exciting craft projects is crochet purses, purses, and purses. Crochet bags are adorable and allow you to use a variety of crochet patterns and manual techniques. You can include Tunisian crochet or integrate pretty beads or even appliqués. This colorful bag is based on Jackfield Tile Square (pattern available separately – download for free here) but of course it can be made with any suitable square. A simple cover is constructed from three pieces, then permanently sewn to a cheap, smooth canvas base – a flu-free way to add strength, durability, shape and handles all in one go.

Instructions are given for DK or Aran / heavier weight yarn using the appropriate hook. More importantly, the notes allow adjustment to fit any gauge, and any size and depth of the inner bag, as long as the front panels are square.
